Last Mountain Railway (LMR) is an 85 mile railway running from Regina to Davidson,
Saskatchewan. At Davidson, the railway continues north to Saskatoon as the CN Craik Subdivision. LMR
primarily interchanges with CN in Davidson, with some intermittent traffic interchanged through CN
Regina.
LMR has a running rights agreement with CN, providing access to our affiliate railroad,
Big Sky Rail (BGS). Last Mountain Railway is used mainly for the haulage of grain that is gathered along
the line, but is also the only direct railway link between Saskatchewan’s two major cities, Regina and
Saskatoon.
With our close proximity to Saskatoon, we offer convenient storage solutions for empty oil tanks,
potash, coal, and other types of railcars. Located in the heart of Saskatchewan’s best agriculture
farmland, BGS takes local grain from multiple third-party facilities to markets across the globe.
