Process Operator - Two Positions - Rosetown, SK

AGT Soileos is seeking two Process Operators to join the team at our Rosetown, SK facility.

The Process Operators will be responsible for the manufacturing and handling of raw materials and/or finished products at the new AGT Soileos production facility north of Rosetown.

Core Responsibilities/Essential Functions

  • Actively promote a safe and efficient work environment consistent with good manufacturing practices
  • Operate equipment and provide ongoing monitoring, troubleshooting and adjustment of the AGT Soileos production process as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and guidelines
  • Provide support for the Quality Department for in-process testing, to ensure that products both adhere to specification and are of uniform quality
  • Obtain product samples and perform QC testing in accordance with established SOPs
  • Operate as a self-starter and demonstrate an ability to work within cross-functional work teams to problem solve, improve processes and procedures, and generally help AGT Lucent to continually improve
  • Identify opportunities for improvement; develop appropriate recommendations, implement action plans, and follow up to ensure effective results
  • Ensure detailed and documented shift logs are prepared for handover to the next shift
  • Execute sanitation and cleaning of process equipment and general cleaning of work areas to contribute to a safe working environment
  • Use of dry and wet chemicals
  • Perform maintenance and repair of equipment and facilities as required
  • Perform any other duties as required

Work Environment

These are full-time positions and will involve rotational shifts in a continuous operation facility. Overtime may be required.

  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Ability to manage a number of tasks in a complex manufacturing plant environment, including strong conceptual, problem solving and communication skills
  • Demonstrated high degree of sound judgment, resourcefulness, initiative and innovation in handling complex technical assignments with minimal supervision
  • First Aid training is a bonus

Financial Reporting Analyst - Regina, SK

AGT Foods Canada, a division of Alliance Pulse Processors Inc., is seeking a Financial Reporting Analystto join our Regina Head Office team.  Working at the Regina Head Office, the Financial Reporting Analyst (FRA) will be a key part of the monthly and quarterly consolidated financial reporting process.  The FRA will be involved in various financial reporting initiatives including financial statements, notes and audit requirements. The FRA will be flexible in some of their duties and provide backup to various team members, creating opportunities for breadth and learning within this role. Finally, the individual will be involved with coordination of subsidiaries around the world for various reporting and/or corporate initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Completion of revenue cutoff testing for various subsidiaries
  • Coordination with AGT auditors on revenue cutoff and other matters
  • Assist with preparation of quarterly financial statements including note preparation/ review, financial statement tie outs and rolls, etc
  • Coordination with subsidiaries on various initiatives such as updating accounting policies and signoffs
  • Prepare/assist with consolidations of various subsidiaries
  • Completion of balance sheet reconciliations and reporting package
  • Preparation of intercompany account reconciliations
  • Preparation of journal entries
  • Provide backup coverage to various accounting team members creating excellent learning opportunities and breadth
  • One of the primary authorizers of electronic disbursements and cheques
  • Assist with internal control testing, documentation and follow up as necessary
  • Other accounting and finance duties as necessary

Skills & Abilities

  • CPA designation or enrolled in the CPA program

Incoming Receiver/Driveway Attendant - Regina, SK

Multiple Production Positions - Bowmans and Kadina, SA, Australia

AGT Foods Australia is seeking production workers for various harvest positions at our Bowmans and Kadina facilities in South Australia. Previous experience within the grain/agriculture industry or similar experience is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.  If you have previous experience in production, bulk handling, weighbridge or process work then we want to hear from you. Safety Coordinator - Regina, SK

Job Overview

Labourers and MOW Equipment Operators - Railroad Tie Gang - Delisle, SK

Mobil Grain, a division of Alliance Pulse Processors Inc., is now hiring Labourers and experienced MOW Equipment Operators for work on our seasonal railroad tie gang. The tie gang will work on our two shortline railroads, Big Sky Rail and Last Mountain Railway, during the months from spring thaw to fall freeze-up. There is a possibility of staying on full-time over next winter for the right candidate(s).

The position is based in Delisle, SK (20 mins west of Saskatoon), but the majority of the work will be elsewhere on the two rail lines. This position will include periods of up to weeks away from home, during which accommodations and meals will be covered by the company.

Duties may include:

  • Culvert repair work
  • Weed/grass trimming
  • Maintenance of railroad switches
  • Operation of tools and/or equipment
  • Upkeep of sidings

Grain Terminal Operator - Delisle, SK

AGT Foods is hiring Grain Terminal Operators on a permanent full-time basis at our Mega Cleaning Facility and Terminal in Delisle, SK.

Duties include:

  • Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Grain Terminal
  • Monitor and operate process equipment and computerized control systems involved with the shipping and receiving of grain products
  • Assist with rail coordination by safely operating a track mobile and/or railcar opener to unload bulk unit trains
  • Perform general housekeeping operations in buildings and terminal grounds as well as light repair and maintenance when required
  • Monitor and manage quality controls, clean/maintain equipment and work floors
  • Identify current/potential maintenance issues (and report them to the Supervisor)

Locomotive Operator - Delisle, SK

AGT Foods is looking for a Locomotive Operator to provide safe and efficient rail car switching service at our Cleaning Plant located in Delisle, SK.

Duties include:

  • Ensuring the safe operation of the locomotive and belt pack
  • Operating switches and derails, coupling and uncoupling rail cars, managing air hoses, applying and releasing handbrakes
  • Complying with all applicable operating rules, switching procedures and regulations
  • Completing daily inspections of the locomotives prior to operation

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Packaging and storage of products to meet production orders

Mechanical Maintenance Person - St. Joseph, MB

AGT Foods, a division of Alliance Pulse Processors Inc., is looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Person to join our team at our St. Joseph, MB location.

Applicant must be energetic, self-motivated, physically fit and able to multitask.

Duties include:

  • Preventative maintenance, diagnosis and repairs on motorized equipment such as trucks, tractors, forklifts, small engines and yard equipment such as belt conveyors.
  • Day to day repairs such as bearings, belts and gearboxes.
  • Planning,coordinating and implementing maintenance and repairs.
  • Maintain records for all maintenance and repairs done.
  • Maintain and procure supplies and parts inventories.
  • Ability to work safely operating hand tools, power tools and man lifts.
  • Experience with welding is an asset but not required.

This is a full time position working with and assisting our staff to repair and maintain equipment in our St Joseph Plants and Yard.

Facility Assistant - Laporte, Eston, and Beechy, SK

AGT Foods, a division of Alliance Pulse Processors Inc., is seeking workers to join our locations in Laporte, Eston and Beechy, SK.
