Mobil Grain, a division of Alliance Pulse Processors Inc., is seeking an experienced Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team at our Delisle, SK shop (20 minutes West of Saskatoon).
This position will revolve around repairing and maintaining our fleet—from heavy equipment to service trucks to locomotives.

- Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic
- Confident in electrical/electronic diagnosis
- Methodical, clean and tidy when performing duties
- A perfectionist when it comes to hose/wire routing and installations
- Experience rebuilding large diesel engines
- Experience and understanding in hydraulic repair and diagnosis
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Time-conscious and trustworthy
- Friendly, polite, and easy to get along with
- Willing to work 40 hours/week, with overtime required occasionally
- Willing to work on-the-road or in-the-field when necessary

AGT Foods is seeking a Plant Operator/Cleanerman to join our Rosetown Pulse Depot production facility.
Duties include:
- Conducts seed and special crops processing procedures ensuring standards are met without undue loss of product
- Grading of various pulse crops processed at the facility
- Maintains procedures for the efficient and safe handling of all processing equipment in the plant
- Participates in the receiving of all inventory ensuring proper storage while maintaining the accuracy of bin charts and inventory records

AGT Foods is seeking a full-time Extrusion – Packaging Operator for our state-of-the-art Extrusion factory in Regina, SK. The Extrusion - Packaging Operator will set up, calibrate, operate, monitor, and perform basic trouble shooting of extrusion and auxiliary equipment to produce clean, quality products to customer specifications.
Responsibilities:

Grain Terminal Operator - Delisle, SK
AGT Foods is hiring Grain Terminal Operators on a permanent full-time basis at our Mega Cleaning Facility and Terminal in Delisle, SK.
Duties include:
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Grain Terminal
- Monitor and operate process equipment and computerized control systems involved with the shipping and receiving of grain products
- Assist with rail coordination by safely operating a track mobile and/or railcar opener to unload bulk unit trains

Truck Driver - Regina, SK

Main Function:
- Responsible for the operation of tractor trailer power unit(s) and handling various chassis/intermodal/equipment loaded or empty in tractor trailer trucking service.
- Operation of various heavy equipment required for yard maintenance and container handling.
- Provide truck and chassis maintenance to the extent possible.
- Hours will vary between 12pm and 3 am.
Description of Work Performed:

Process Operators - Rosetown, SK
AGT Foods and Lucent BioSciences are looking for 4 Process Operators.
The Process Operator will be responsible for the manufacturing and handling of raw materials and/or finished products at the new AGT Soileos production facility north of Rosetown.
Core Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- Actively promote a safe and efficient work environment consistent with good manufacturing practices
- Operate equipment and provide ongoing monitoring, troubleshooting and adjustment of the AGT Soileos production process as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and guidelines
- Provide support for the Quality Department for in-process testing, to ensure that products both adhere to specification and are of uniform quality
- Obtain product samples and perform QC testing in accordance with established SOPs
- Operate as a self-starter and demonstrate an ability to work within cross-functional work teams to problem solve, improve processes and procedures, and generally help AGT Lucent to continually improve
- Identify opportunities for improvement; develop appropriate recommendations, implement action plans, and follow up to ensure effective results
- Ensure detailed and documented shift logs are prepared for handover to the next shift
- Execute sanitation and cleaning of process equipment and general cleaning of work areas to contribute to a safe working environment
- Use of dry and wet chemicals
- Perform maintenance and repair of equipment and facilities as required
- Perform any other duties as required

Position type and expected hours of work:
These are Full time positions and will involve rotational shifts in a continuous operation facility and overtime may be required. Between September 2022 and March 2023, three (3) of these positions will be training at our production facility in Humboldt, SK. We will provide a mileage and living allowance at a standard rate for this period for those traveling from Rosetown and area.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Valid drivers licence
- Ability to work in Canada
- Ability to operate machinery if required, including forklift, tractor trailer, (Additional training will be provided as needed to successful candidates)
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and identify opportunities for improvement
- Ability to manage a number of tasks in a complex manufacturing plant environment, including strong conceptual, problem solving and communication skills
- Must have the capability to interact effectively at all levels of management
- Demonstrated high degree of sound judgment, resourcefulness, initiative and innovation in handling complex technical assignments with minimal supervision
- First Aid training is a bonus
Additional eligibility qualifications:
- Demonstrated commitment to working in a safe working environment, including a working knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety or applicable provincial legislation
- General computer literacy skills with knowledge of spreadsheets, Microsoft Office, SAP and database applications

R&D Laboratory Technician - Saskatoon, SK
AGT Foods is looking for a full time R&D Laboratory Technician to join our team at our Saskatoon, SK R&D facility.
The R&D Laboratory Technician will be part of the R&D team, reporting directly to R&D Manager of the Saskatoon R&D Centre. You will be responsible for tasks associated with sample evaluation, experimentation, data analysis, and documentation, as well as general maintenance of work environment and lab equipment. A successful candidate will need to be thorough and detail oriented, able to successfully maintain records of lab processes and equipment, and generate reports to the relevant R&D stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving, labeling, sorting and evaluate incoming samples (food ingredients) with the correct testing equipment, and coordinating with external laboratories for sample testing
- Assisting with efficient operation of the product Quality Control and R&D lab projects
- Executing physical and functional analyses of samples as per SOPs, recording observations, and interpreting findings
- Recording all experimental data and testing results accurately in the specified format (written and electronic)
- Organizing samples and chemical substances according to specified and safety instructions
- Ensuring safety guidelines are always adhered to within the laboratory
- Maintaining daily logs and equipment record books
- Cleaning, maintaining the lab and all that is relevant wherein
- Providing support when requested, including but not limited to trade show support and prototyping
- Keeping up to date with relevant scientific and technical developments
Lab Technician Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required, college diploma or bachelor’s degree in food science or a related field is preferred
- 1-2 years of lab work experience is considered an asset
- Analytical and problem-solving skills: ability to perform basic mathematical calculations in different units of measurement; ability to solve problems in a systematic and thorough process to obtain satisfactory results
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to follow instructions and write correspondence and reports
- Good time management skills and ability to arrange/overlap lab activities in a timely manner
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to perform physically demanding work such as standing for long periods of time, and occasionally moving samples (up to 25kg) and lifting equipment etc.
