AGT Foods Canada is AGT’s largest division, comprised of 21+ facilities across Western Canada for value-added processing of pulses, grains, oilseeds and canary seed. AGT Foods Canada’s facilities are located in the same local communities where our products are sourced, connecting Canadian growers directly with the international food marketplace.

AGT Foods Canada was founded in 2001 as Saskcan Pulse Trading by the Arslan Family (Arbel Group) and President & CEO Murad Al-Katib. Since then, AGT Foods Canada has grown from a small start-up company with a single facility to an internationally recognized exporter and a leader in the Canadian agri-food business. AGT Foods has been a trailblazer in the pulse business of Canada since its founding, helping to build Western Canada into the first stop on the global protein highway.

We offer a range of over 1,400 products, including pulses grains, rice, beverages, condiments, pasta, dairy products, dried fruit and nuts, confectionery items, oils, vinegars, blossoms, frozen vegetables, ready-to-eat meas, gourmet specialties and canned foods. AGT Foods products are available at grocery retailers across Canada and in many parts of the United States under the CLIC and Tamam brands.
